Alpha, darling, you have the files of all the Immune on hand, remember? In their world there's probably an Athos. Read up on them and it might make more sense.
anyway, i've already read some of the files. it's eerie. you'd think they'd want to strengthen the bonds between the immune themselves, not try and give them ties to us. i suppose on another hand entirely it makes sense though.
i was pretty sure at the time my hugger was a pirate. turns out he was just a musketeer. either way it was sort of like getting a hug from a childhood memory for about three seconds. i think you might win though; i disappointed mine at first but at least i am maybe 26% who they think i am.
[ he has almost literally no idea what to say to that first part. he can't really picture a kind, nice, honest person surviving for too long amongst their numbers - the lot of them seem to be having enough trouble as it is. ]
big, loud. cross between a pirate and a peacock. so much leather. picked me nearly up off my feet and looked gutted when i didn't recognise him.
[ he makes a note to at least read more of the incoming files on the immune. maybe a chip would be handy, loathe as he is to admit it. he's been relatively lucky with his side-effects so far, and he enjoys being himself, but. there are so many of them coming in, dropping out now - it's difficult to keep track of them. ]
he must have skills they want to take a risk like that. hopefully he'll keep that instability away from you at least - giving me a suspicious fan club and you an unstable whatever at the same time is an interesting decision
[ Not that he's questioning it. Just that. Well. It's an interesting decision. ]
i'd imagine it'll play out to an advantage though. unity everywhere
have you forgotten though i told you there were two of them? they don't totally trust each other but they definitely trust me less
[ Although she was talking about Romeo and being soft and he feels a bit bad for making his wigging out the point of the conversation even though she switched topics to talk about his twice now. ] hopefully you can minimise contact for a while anyway, let you both get settled from the encounter

He looked at me the way I used to look at Romeo. I couldn't. I'm getting soft or something. You'll just have to make up for it with your pirate.
